All of the world is a stage, and I, a mediocre actress.

Summertime is finally here. I've been having so much fun. The other night was one purely out of the movies. It was much more fun though. All that day was sunny and beautiful. The baseball field over the lake was brisk and pretty. My favorite cousin in the whole world came back from st. louis and was spending time up here, but that's not the fun thing.

I had woken up with no real thought comming to mind except for my daily horiscope and my chihuahua needing a bath. I took a bath myself, and then logged on to my computer and found an email! One of my friends from school wanted to go to the movie "Hidalgo" and I wasn't too superly hyped on it, but I wanted to chill with her, so I said sure. So I cleaned my room, and waited for six o'clock to roll around. I talked with friends on the internet some, while waiting, and then Jamie came over. He's 20 and thinks that I'm 18. Don't worry, I got it all down, "i was born in 1985" bla bla, lol. But anyways, he came over, and he told me to take a ride with him, and then I saw he was hauling something. HE HAD JUST GOTTEN A MOTORCYCLE! He said he wanted me to be the first to ride it with him, and so we rode around for about a half an hour! It was the first time I had ever been on a motorcycle. He let me be in front, while he helped me steer. It was amazing, I looked down at my feet gliding over the pavement, and I could have sworn I was flying. My hair was everywhere, (yea, i now wear a helmet, but it was my first time on a motorcycle) I put one hand out a little, and felt the air stroke through my fingers, it was great. I felt so free. Time was running short, so he brought me to the theater, and dropped me off. I didn't want him to meet Christiana cuz she knew my real age, and it might have slipped out. (That's why none of my friends know about him)
We had so much fun at the movies, making up imaginary situations before the movie started, about marrying rich dentists that made their own custom toothpaste just for us. (Yea, i know, dentists don't make toothpaste, but that's why we called it a fantasy) We talked about this woman on Oprah who married this guy that she thought was poor but turned out to be the richest man in England. We reclined in the plushy new seats that the theatre just put in, that could rock back and forth.
When the movie started, we swooned at the romance scenes, cheered at the races, and cried at the trageties. I LOVE the movies. Her mom gave us a lift back to my house, which was nice. Her father is in this band called K-dogs. He's in his forties, and they've been in this heavy hard rock band since she was little. I so envy her for that.
Well, I thought the night was over, so I jumped in my Marilyn and Ozzy shirt, and went to bed, cuddled up in my big vulgar feather tick, and my water pillow. (chiropractor's orders) It was a little hot in the room, so I opened the window.
Later that night, I woke up at 1:something in the morning, and I heard these people outside my window. One college boy was talking on the phone, while these drunken girls were screaming and giggling along with the other college boy. I looked outside, and they were looking for their ride. The boy on the phone explained to the other person that someone had called the cops on them.
I told my mother that they were out there, and she yelled at them. I, then realized, it was the first Saturday of spring break. As I was looking outside, there were a bunch of other college students walking around at all hours of the night, walking down the sidewalk, screaming and having fun. You see, my street is a very busy street, its THE college street. Everyone rents out rooms for the school year, since there are two colleges within five miles. (one of which just a couple of blocks from my house)

Finally, I started thinking, plotting, more like, how to get out of the house without my mom waking up. I HAD to go to one of these parties. It was just like a force of nature, for me to do this. i couldn't go out the front door, because my mom was sleeping in the living room, right by the front door. (Plus, my front door is huge and very noisy) I thought about the basement window, but it was too close to the living room. But then I noticed the ladder on the roof. I just remembered about my mom and cousin working on the roof right by my window.

So I got dressed and climbed down onto the roof, slowly scootching over to the edge where the ladder was. (My bedroom is on the second floor of three) and then slowly down the ladder. It was a little unsteady, but I managed. When I had finally got down, I ran towards the sidewalk. I went around the block, looking for a house with any sign of a party. As I was about to just give up and go back home, I heard these screams. As I looked over, I saw alot of people coming out of this one blue two story. I went towards it, and then sheepishly addressed one of the kids coming out. I said "um, excuse me?" and he walked forward, and as if he was trying to come close to a deer without it being frightened, he said "hello" I told him that my friend "mary" had just dropped me off, and she said there was a party somewhere around there, and I asked him if this was it. He said yes, and his other friend started swearing at him, telling him to hurry up. He said he had to go, but I should ask one of them over there about it.
I said thanks, and he said peace out. (he was obviously loaded)
I started towards this group and asked them about it, and they said that the keg had been drained, so the party was over. I asked when the next one might be, and then they told me to ask this other guy around the corner. The gothic looking guy with longer black hair about to his eyes waved goodbye to me, and walked away. I looked around the corner, and saw this really tall guy taking a piss by this garbage can. I asked when the next party might be, and he shook it and put it away, and walked towards me. He said that this wendsday they were gonna just be chilling outside on lawn chairs with beer bongs and crap. He told me just to introduce yourself and hang out, and they would see what's up by then.
I said thanks, and walked home, climbed into my window, and went to sleep. I could hardly sleep, so I put on my "practical magic" soundtrack and drifted off.
Finally my life seems to be coming together. This is my first adventure in year 15, and it's just a reminder of the adventures to come.
Your not-so-victimized after all friend,
Lisalee
